Marvin Liang is a Partner at Marshall Rosenberg, where he works on law firm placements and heads the in-house practice.

Marvin practiced law for a decade prior to joining Marshall Rosenberg, including at Jones Day in NYC and Washington, DC. As a corporate lawyer, Marvin advised clients on domestic and international M&A for public and private companies, private equity transactions and corporate governance. He was also seconded to a Fortune 100 company, where he was responsible for transactional, regulatory and compliance matters. After leaving private practice, Marvin was a Director in PwC's in-house corporate law group, where he led all financing matters for the company and was responsible for M&A and other transactional projects.

Having worked in private practice and in-house, Marvin serves as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates to understand their needs and to find an ideal fit. He has extensive experience with the entire search process and a wide network of contacts in the legal industry.

Marvin is actively involved in diversity and community service initiatives. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF). He also serves as an advisor and former Co-Chair of the International Law Committee of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).

Marvin received his J.D., cum laude from the SMU Dedman School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review. He holds a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin.
