Anastasia Boyko is a lawyer-turned-operator with broad experience across the lawyer lifecycle, from academia to law firm practice, in-house talent development, and alternative legal services and technology.
Anastasia began her career as a New York-based associate with the wills and trusts group at Katten Muchin Rosenman, and then the corporate tax group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, focusing on international tax structuring of investment fund vehicles.
Pivoting into business operations roles, Anastasia built a suite of commercial skills across sales, marketing, and talent management within technology startups and professional services firms like Practical Law Company, Axiom and GLG. Her professional passion is at the nexus of operational efficiency and talent optimization, especially as it relates to the development of lawyers and the business of law. Anastasia began her legal recruiting career at Axiom where she led legal recruiting and attorney development of in-house lawyers across the largest region of the global secondment business.
Most recently, Anastasia was the inaugural dean of the Tsai Leadership Program at Yale Law School, where she built and fundraised for a best-in-class leadership development program for law students with curricular, programmatic and mentorship components to support the many paths lawyers pursue in their careers. The Tsai Leadership Program is the largest program in Yale Law School history, and the first of its kind in legal academia, focusing on a holistic approach to the leadership development of lawyers.
Anastasia has been an active member of the New York State Bar Association committees on Attorney Professionalism and Law Practice Management, as well as the Yale Law School Fund Board. Anastasia has been a frequent speaker on topics of legal project management, alternative fees, legal efficiency, business development, knowledge management, and professional development. She is also a certified yoga teacher.
Anastasia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and her law degree from Yale Law School.
